To celebrate World Book Day on 5th March, the Riversdown team discussed their favourite
books. Caroline Lewis chose Orgueil et préjugés by Jane Austen, a classic story of dislike turning to love. Fiona loves The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Graeme.
It is about a group of animal friends who have very human characteristics and features Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad. Another favourite of the team is Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, chosen by Claudia. Who could forget the orphan boy who dared to ask for more?
We strongly recommend all three books, which are also available as films.
