English Language Programmes & Fees at Riversdown
At Riversdown we design and deliver English language programmes to improve your communication skills in an international environment. We are open all year round. Course elements can include:
(i) Language
(ii) Skills such as negotiating and presenting
(iii) cross-cultural awareness.
From the moment you arrive, we take care of every detail to ensure your focus remains 100% on learning.
One-to-One
Our fees are all-inclusive and cover
- A tailor-made course programme for every student
- Needs and level analyses, and end of course report
- All materials
- All meals, morning and afternoon refreshments
- Accommodation in a private on-site bedroom
- Evening social activities (all included in fee, except optional visit to theatre)
- Use of leisure facilities, e.g. 9-hole PGA golf course, gym, tennis courts, bicycles, sauna, swimming pool (summer months)
- One trial golf session (further lessons are charged at £30 per hour in a group or £50 individual)
- Full-day excursion on Saturday for clients staying more than one week (excluding entry fees)
- Transfers to and from the following airports: Southampton, Bournemouth, Heathrow & Gatwick

Groups consist of a maximum of 4 participants.
Combination courses are not suitable for complete beginners.

Additional information
- Arrivals on Sunday, Departures on Saturday, typical programmes are 1-4 weeks.
- Closed groups and 2/3 day and weekend courses are also available – please contact us for details.
- If you wish to stay an extra night at Riversdown House (subject to availability) the cost is GBP 120 per night.
- Participants staying for one week who wish to go on the full-day excursion on Saturday may do so for an additional charge of GBP 150 (If no other students are participating in the excursion there will be a GBP 50.00 surcharge. Price includes accommodation on Saturday night).
- If you want us to pick you up from a location other than Southampton, Bournemouth, Heathrow or Gatwick airports, we can do so for an additional charge.
- At the end of your stay, if you wish to be taken to a location other than Southampton, Bournemouth, Heathrow or Gatwick airports, we can do so for an additional charge.
- Payment in full is due before the first day of training.
