Riversdown has enjoyed sunshine and blue skies this week, with temperatures reaching 15C.
Spring has brought birdsong and many daffodils. These popular yellow flowers are a sign that we are moving away from winter and that summer is around the corner. The daffodil is the national flower of Wales and a favourite of our Welsh trainer, Kerry Davis. Did you know there are over 13,000 different varieties of daffodils? A famous poem was also written about them by William Wordsworth in 1804: “When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils.” It sounds like Riversdown!
