The sun shone brightly as students visited the Alresford Show, close to Riversdown.  This annual event has been running since 1909 and is a wonderful celebration of rural life, bringing together farmers, families, local businesses and communities. Students enjoyed displays of chickens, sheep, vintage cars and tractors, horse-riding events, delicious local produce, traditional crafts and local brass bands. With its friendly atmosphere and countryside charm, the show allowed students to experience real English culture –  even ferret racing!
