Riversdown Trainer, Chris Tanner, took one of our students “home” to the north of England last weekend.  Manuel, who has been coming to Riversdown almost every year since 2007, was driven to to the charming market town of Clitheroe in Lancashire’s Ribble Valley.  Due to problems on the road, the journey took nine hours, twice the expected time!  On arrival, they stayed in the charming town of Downham and explored the Clitheroe area.  On Saturday, they attended a Blackburn Rovers football match, celebrating a 2-1 win over Middlesborough. Chris is an enthusiastic supporter and Chairman of the Blackburn Rovers Swedish Supporters’ Association, something he will happily tell you all about!

Both gentlemen returned to Riversdown late on Sunday evening, tired but full of stories of their northern adventures.
