Join us for a special Jane Austen-themed week this December to celebrate the birth on 16th December 1775 of one of the UK’s greatest female writers. The author of Pride and Prejudice, who we believe may have visited Riversdown House to meet a reviewer, is the focus of huge attention this year. In addition to English language classes, students will enjoy recipes from Austen’s time, a visit to her home at Chawton, and a Regency dance, among other events. Join us in the week beginning 8th December and indulge your love of books, history and English culture.
