Students stepped into a world of wonder and magic when they went to see Mary Poppins at the Mayflower Southampton.  We are lucky to have two local theatres that offer top quality shows that are as good as the best shows in London.  The beloved nanny floated down from the skies and into their hearts. Adapted from P.L. Travers’ classic books and the iconic Disney film, the stage production was filled with unforgettable songs, breathtaking choreography, and dazzling special effects. The audience was enchanted by the uplifting story of the Banks family, Mary’s delightful adventures, and the message that anything is possible if you let your imagination free. With its timeless lessons and spectacular song and dance, Mary Poppins is a joyous celebration that had the audience cheering.
