It was with great sadness that we said a final good-bye to Beanie at the start of this year.  As many of you will remember, Beanie was golf pro John Harris’ dog at Riversdown for many years.  One day, Beanie arrived and she loved it so much she never left.  Content to take herself on walks around the golf course, she made friends with people from across the world.  She will never be forgotten.

However, John has decided to bring a puppy into the Riversdown family, and what a gorgeous girl she is!  Panda brought great delight to the Chicken Shed when she made a special visit to students recently. When she has grown a little more, she will be able to spend more time here with John.  With a black patch over her eye, she couldn’t be better named and we are happy to add her to the other much-loved animals currently residing at Riversdown, including dogs (Lola, Cooper, Spud) and cats (Wasabi and Cobweb).

Please note: animals are not allowed inside the main house or classrooms – we always respect the wishes of students who do not like to be around animals.
